Carolina Heat K9's Academy offers a unique training process, including in-home and training at our facility, offered by our certified and accredited dog training crew.

Here is the process:

1. The initial FREE in-home evaluation.

Our Company President will come to your home to meet you and your dog to observe in the natural environment.  We will be interviewing not only your furry family member, but YOU TOO!

 

We want to see not only how your dog behaves at home, with other pets in the home, and strangers, but also your objectives and goals with the training.

2. Selection of training program

Carolina Heat K9s offers several programs with very specific goals.  Each of the programs build on the successful completion of the programs before, and can target specific behaviors you are hoping to modify.

3. Training Days

The initial training occurs at our facility over one to three weeks, depending on the training program you select.  Your dog will stay at our location, where he will undergo a rigorous training program.  Training days are spent with very hands-on programming, in a loving and safe environment.

 

4. Coming Home

After the initial training days, your furry family member comes back home to you, proud of the new things he has learned, and ready to show them off.  We will work with you in order to maintain consistency, and reinforcement of the training, until it becomes habit.

Remember, it is not only your pup that is getting training with Carolina Heat K9s.  YOU are receiving training too!

5. Follow-up

Part of our program includes two additional in-home visits to help ensure that the training your dog received while with us is becoming second nature.  We will also teach you a few tricks and offer some great enrichment ideas to not only keep your dog engaged and eager to learn, but truly create a strong bond between you and your dog.
