Palmetto Pop-Up Weddings has several venue suggestions for your day, but don't think that these are the ONLY options!

Our officiants can perform a ceremony nearly anywhere that is special to you - Downtown, The Base, a Park, a Trail, Your Backyard....We are NOT that excited about the side of a cliff, but short of that...ANYWHERE.
SC State House
The South Carolina State House, with all it's history and beautiful lawns, gardens, memorials, and statues is the perfect place for a Pop-Up wedding.
The grounds of the State House are open to the public, and you can select the area of the grounds that is special to you and you Partner.
9/11 Memorial
The South Carolina First Responders Memorial was created and opened to the public on September 11, 2011, marking the 10 year anniversary of the attacks on the United States.
​
The Memorial includes two 25 foot granite towers, bearing the names of First Responders from the Midlands who have given their lives to Country and Community since the attacks.
The Memorial also has a pair of steel beams from Tower One of the World Trade Center, and a granite memorial dedicated to service K-9's.
​
The Memorial is a soulful place of honor, and makes a wonderful backdrop to your special day, that allows you to include a loved one who has made the ultimate sacrifice.
Finlay Park
Finlay Park is one of South Carolina's best known and favorite public parks. Named for former Columbia Mayor Kirkman Finlay, the space is used as a music venue, art shows, playground, event space. Finlay Park has been the location of political events, movie shoots, and road races.

You can enjoy the main stage, fountain, green grass, or an overlook toward downtown Columbia as a backdrop to your amazing moment.
Irmo Park
The Irmo Community Park is a special place located in the middle of the Town of Irmo, two minutes from the I-26 exit. The park includes sheltered areas, an amphitheater
Riverwalk / Riverfront Parks
Make your special day memorable and picturesque by tying the knot on the bank of the mighty Saluda River.

There are many options along both the Columbia and West Columbia sides of the river, which separates the two communities, from the Coble Park and green amphitheater on the Columbia side to the winding walkways and water accessible rocks and landscape.
Capital City Club
Ever thought about what the Capital City looks like from the sky? Aside from chartering a private plane and flying around for a while are the amazing 360 degree views from one of the tallest buildings in the Palmetto State.

At the top of the Capital Building (aka BB&T Building) is the Capital City Club, a private business club with the distinction of being the first integrated private club in Columbia.
​
The Club is members only, however, Palmetto Pop-Up Weddings has build solid relationships with the Club, and offer an opportunity* to experience to make your memory as close to the clouds as possible without checking a bag!
